It's not easy for us while distance separates us.
As each day passes into another we must look forward to tomorrow,
knowing that we are one day closer to the dreams that we hold.
It may be frustrating when we need a hug or want each others company.
When we feel alone we should close our eyes and remember a moment in
time when we held one another, remember our smiles,
and listen to our warm voices, and feel the love that surrounds us.
Even if it's only in our minds that we held each other,
I can still see your smile and hear your voice.
We must live each day together,
even though distance keeps us apart,
it may seem unfair at times if we feel neglected by each other,
we must try and understand each of our needs,
and take time out of our separate worlds
to open our hearts and our minds.
Lets live each day side by side,
Lets feel comfortable with our love,
For then our loneliness will leave us.
Missing each other will help us gained confidence
In our togetherness and we will grow while we are apart.
It is so easy to write these words of how we are suppose to feel
and its so hard to do when there is so much distance between us.
I wonder sometimes how long do we go on like this pretending
that there is going to be an "us" when we know that as each day
passes into weeks, then months, and then years that it may never
happen if it hasn't happened yet.
I want to believe that someday we will be together and that you
do love me, but deep down inside we both know that it will never
happen because of other commitments that we have in our life.
Always remember that I love you and that you will always be very special
to me and who knows what the future might hold for us later on down the line.
